  • Shirofune, the digital advertising automation management platform, announced it has started offering integration features with Google Campaign Manager 360, a.k.a. CM360.

Brands and advertising agencies increasingly run campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads and Display & Video 360 (DV360). As a result, accurately measuring advertising effectiveness across these channels has become increasingly important, but often a challenge.

However, differences in conversion metrics and measurement standards between platforms, combined with growing restrictions on third-party cookies and stronger privacy protections, have made cross-platform measurement more difficult.

To address this challenge, advertisers have increasingly turned to CM360’s Floodlight as a common measurement framework for evaluating advertising performance across channels.

However, combining Floodlight measurement data with delivery data from individual advertising platforms for reporting and campaign optimisation has traditionally required advertisers to collect, aggregate, and reconcile data from multiple sources.

Continuously incorporating Floodlight results into day-to-day campaign management can also be time-consuming and labour-intensive.

“As advertising becomes increasingly fragmented across platforms, brands and advertisers need a consistent way to measure performance and turn that data into action,” said Mitsunaga Kikuchi, Founder and CEO, Shirofune.

“CM360’s Floodlight provides an important common measurement framework, bringing data together with media delivery data, and using it to optimise campaigns that can be complex and time-consuming. With this integration, we’re making it much easier for advertisers to connect measurement with execution.”

“By bringing CM360, DV360 and other media data together in Shirofune, advertisers can gain a more unified view of performance and use those insights to make smarter budget and bidding decisions across channels.”

With Shirofune’s new integration, advertisers can import conversion data measured through CM360’s Floodlight directly into the platform, where it automatically combines with delivery data from supported advertising platforms.

This allows advertisers to use Floodlight conversions as a common measurement metric across media managed through Shirofune and create cross-media reports based on consistent measurement data.

The integration can also automate cross-media budget allocation and bid optimisation based on Floodlight performance data, helping advertisers make more informed decisions across their campaigns.

Since April 2025, Shirofune has supported campaign optimisation for Google’s demand-side platform, Display & Video 360 (DV360). DV360 enables advertisers to purchase inventory across a broad range of media beyond Google Ads and can be more complex to configure and manage than platforms such as Google Ads.

By using Shirofune, advertisers can simplify the management of DV360 while bringing together advertising delivery and measurement data from DV360 and CM360. This enables unified cross-media analysis and optimisation within a single platform.

DV360 allows advertisers to buy ads on a wide range of media outlets, not just those owned by Google Ads. The CM360 integration is available to all Shirofune users at no additional cost. Customers pay only Shirofune’s standard platform usage fee, which is 5% of monthly advertising spend managed through Shirofune.

However, Shirofune not only simplifies the use of DV360 but also enables advertisers to combine ad delivery and measurement data from DV360 and CM360, providing unified cross-media analysis and optimisation within a single platform.

Shirofune will continue to strengthen its collaboration with advertising media and various measurement platforms to further automate and streamline advertising operations, enabling advertising managers to achieve high results with less effort.
