    Based in Egypt, and with the firm since 2011, Nermeen Bedeir is passionate about bringing alive the voice of the consumer, and translating that into actionable strategies that enable clients to grow. She has two decades of experience in the Middle East and Africa (she graduated in 1999 from The American University in Cairo), and has worked with dozens of brands across the fast-moving consumer goods, banking, telecom, technology, automotive and travel sectors. 

    Amol-GhateShe now assumes end-to-end responsibility for the Insights division in Egypt, which according to Amol Ghate, Managing Director of Kantar Insights for the Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan, is facing ‘exciting times’ in the country, having just expanded its on the ground team and suite of offerings.

    Among the latest of new offerings is Marketplace, the firm’s market research platform that allows clients to rapidly turn insights into action, fuelling what the consultancy bills as “marketing agility that will redefine the way people think of research.”

    At the helm since 1 July, Bedeir now leads the Insights portfolio and team, a capacity she holds alongside her existing role of Chief Client Officer for Kantar in North Africa. 

    “In Nermeen I know we have a leader who will provide our clients and employees with a partner who not only truly understands the important role consumer insight plays in building strong brands but also someone who is able to work with brands to help develop appropriate strategies to leverage those insights.
