  • Zumasys is acquiring the assets of Efficiency Partners, an Independent Software Vendor (ISV), enabling the company to add the Crescendo platform to its portfolio. Crescendo is an ERP software solution designed for manufacturers, distributors, and service companies.

As part of the transaction, Samuel H. Hazleton V, the CEO of Efficiency Partners, joins Zumasys as a full-time employee. Crescendo adds to Zumasys’ rapidly expanding portfolio of vertical application software, all of which run on MultiValue technology.

“Sam and the Efficiency Partners team have a fantastic track record of building close partnerships and helping companies grow,” said Paul Giobbi, president of Zumasys. “We are committed to Crescendo’s user base, and we are excited to build upon their rich legacy. We are also honored to have Sam and his team join Zumasys.”

As part of its standard integration process, Zumasys has migrated Crescendo to jBASE, the modern NoSQL database now owned by Rocket Software. Additionally, the Zumasys is offering new API integrations, enhanced reporting capabilities and new, more flexible Cloud/SaaS delivery options.

“As we looked at the options to best support and enhance Crescendo, it was clear that Zumasys was the ideal partner. They understand our technology stack and they have the sales, marketing, and development expertise to take the business to the next level,” said Hazelton. “In our short time together, we have already seen the benefits of the partnership and we are excited about our future together.”

This is Zumasys’ 7th acquisition in the last two years and marks the company’s latest business chapter as a provider of vertical application software.
