An integrated mobile and online platform to provide users with easy access to a variety of restaurants, florists, health and beauty products, fashion items and electronics is set to be launched in Bahrain next month.
The YOU application was unveiled yesterday by its co-founders – chief executive Dr Adel Hubail and operations chief Noor Al Saati.
The company has raised a capital of BD1.5 million from private investors and put together a team of 45, of whom 85 per cent are Bahraini. The app is owned by WeDeliver, a joint stock company owned by Bahraini and GCC investors.
The platform will be kicking off its prelaunch app testing campaign in the last week of this month, where 10,000 participants will be selected locally to be part of the pilot programme.
The mobile app will be made available to the general public in the first week of next month through the iOS App Store and Google Play.
