  • PwC has launched its Agent OS, a new enterprise AI command centre designed to streamline the deployment and management of intelligent agents across complex business environments. The platform enables organisations to integrate AI agents into business workflows up to ten times faster than traditional approaches.

Agent OS acts as a unified orchestration framework that connects and scales AI agents across various platforms and enterprise functions. It provides a consistent, flexible foundation for building, managing, and coordinating agents developed with third-party SDKs or customised with proprietary enterprise data.

The system supports integration with major enterprise tools and platforms, including Anthropic, AWS, GitHub, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, OpenAI, Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, Workday, and more.

Enterprises face challenges due to the fragmented development of AI agents — often embedded, standalone, or built on different SDKs. These agents frequently operate in silos, limiting their ability to collaborate or scale effectively.

PwC’s Agent OS addresses this by providing a modular, adaptive structure for orchestrating agents in cohesive workflows. Its patent-pending orchestration system supports pre-built agents, custom development, and fine-tuning on enterprise-specific data.

The platform features an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, natural language workflow design, and real-time data flow visualisation, making it accessible for both technical and non-technical users. Agent OS is cloud-agnostic, with support for deployment across all major cloud providers and on-premises systems, and supports multilingual workflows for global enterprise needs.

PwC positions Agent OS as a solution to common enterprise AI integration issues, offering a way to unify AI development across platforms, manage governance and compliance through integrated risk frameworks, and facilitate collaboration between AI agents to handle cross-functional processes.

PwC itself has deployed over 250 AI agents internally using Agent OS to enhance productivity across tax, assurance, and advisory services, reinforcing its own operational AI strategy and governance framework.
