Experienced senior leader with a passion for building and developing high-performing teams and applying digital technologies to support organisations through major business transformation. Have held a wide range of technical and commercial roles across IT and telecommunications with both domestic and global organisations, driving operational excellence and managing significant change programmes. Currently responsible for managing all technical support activities for Google Cloud Platform in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Prior to Google was responsible for Technical Support for EMEA with Tableau Software. Prior to Tableau was responsible for managing all customer support activities for Amazon Web Services (AWS) in EMEA, running a number of dedicated support teams across the region as part of the Global AWS Support organisation, and partnering with the sales teams across EMEA to drive the adoption of cloud services and associated support offerings. Before joining AWS was heading up the Service Operations division in eircom Group Technology with responsibility for the delivery and support of all customer and internal services across fixed and mobile networks and IT, driving key service improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience, and leading a LEAN process re-engineering programme to transform technology operations at eircom. I led a team of 400+ multi-disciplined technical professionals, supporting over 2 million customers and managed extensive OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
