Katch Data Launches AI Tool to Vet Influencers for Brands

  • Katch Data, a content intelligence company used by major Hollywood studios and leading social platforms, has introduced Katch Verified, its first product designed specifically for agencies and brands engaged in influencer marketing.

    The new platform applies Katch Data’s “content genomics” technology to influencer vetting, allowing marketing teams to analyse large numbers of creators quickly and systematically. Instead of relying on time-consuming manual reviews, users can assess hundreds of influencer profiles in minutes to determine whether a creator is a suitable match for a campaign.

    Katch Verified is built on a proprietary semantic analysis engine that uses multimodal artificial intelligence to examine text, images, video and audio. The approach mirrors the methodology the company has previously developed for film and television studios.

    To use the service, brands or agencies upload a list of influencers and specify their requirements. Katch Verified then scans each creator’s content history, evaluating every frame, object, sound and word. The system is designed to detect subtle risks that human reviewers—or generic AI tools—often overlook, such as problematic background imagery or nuanced contextual issues. Every flagged instance is accompanied by an explanation so teams can see exactly what was identified and why.

    Dr. Nolan Gasser, the company’s chief genomic officer and co-founder, said the technology offers a level of insight that traditional tagging systems cannot achieve.
