AlphaSense has announced the launch of Deep Research, a new AI agent that AlphaSense users can leverage for automating complex research tasks. Purpose-built to function like a team of analysts, Deep Research enables users to generate comprehensive research outputs, build investment-grade briefings, and synthesise insights at scale.
Deep Research uses AlphaSense’s content library, which includes over 500 million business and financial documents, to generate well-informed outputs quickly. Enterprise Intelligence customers will have the added benefit of including their internal document libraries in the analysis, allowing Deep Research to analyse and contrast internal and external perspectives in one seamless output report.
“Deep Research is a game-changer for anyone making or advocating important decisions at their company. It enables much deeper and faster analysis at a level that few teams have time for, which enables decision makers to cover more ground and operate with much greater agility,” said Chris Ackerson, SVP of Product at AlphaSense.
“It’s like having a team of analysts ready to produce detailed, polished outputs in minutes, without sacrificing accuracy, while maintaining easy deep-dive access to underlying content through granular citations.”

Access to better information often sets successful organisations apart, but manual research is slow, can delay decisions, and may overlook important details. To address this, many businesses are looking to use AI tools across teams to make better use of their technology investments.
Deep Research solves this by integrating seamlessly into key financial and business workflows, freeing up time for individuals to focus on more high-value tasks and unlocking thorough, fully auditable, AI-driven analysis, including:
- Comprehensive Company and Industry Primers: With AlphaSense’s proprietary Expert Insights on private companies, powered by Tegus, users can produce a primer on any company or industry, covering business models, target markets, the competitive landscape, and the current bull vs. bear case for a company.
- In-Depth M&A Screening: Analyse M&A strategy and prepare a list of potential acquisition targets and rationale, and upload findings into a pitch-ready slide deck.
- Streamlined Meeting Preparation: Compile an in-depth analysis on a company’s executive priorities, expert opinions, and competitive movements—everything needed to brief the board or impress a prospective client.
“It’s rare to get both precision and speed. Deep Research gave us insights we would’ve needed multiple interviews and days of digging to uncover, and did it with citations we could immediately trust and explore,” said Sudheer Yerabati, CEO at MarketStrat.
Deep Research builds on AlphaSense’s track record in applied AI, following the rollout of Generative Search and Generative Grid. These offerings reflect a broader move toward agentic AI, where full workflows are automated to enhance strategic decision-making and deliver significant productivity gains.
