Virtual Dining Concepts is introducing TikTok Kitchen, a delivery-only operation featuring a menu inspired by food trends popularised on the short-form video platform. Proceeds from sales will support the creators who inspired the menu items.
With more than one billion users, TikTok has become a space for creators to post food videos ranging from recipes to cooking hacks. TikTok Kitchen menu items will be updated quarterly to tap into the latest trends. Restaurants approved to carry TikTok Kitchen will receive training materials, recipes, packaging and more.
Virtual Dining Concepts was established to provide restaurant owners opportunities to launch delivery-only brands within existing kitchen operations. Branded concepts include MrBeast Burger, Barstool Bites, NASCAR Refuel, Larray’s Loaded Mac & Cheese, Mario’s Tortas Lopez, Mariah’s Cookies, Pauly D’s Italian Subs, Foodgod Truffle Fries, Steve Harvey’s Family Food, Wing Squad, Buddy V’s Cake Slice and P.Za Kitchen.
“Working with the team at TikTok on development of the menu and the whole vibe of this brand has been so energising, and I am thrilled to reveal our newest VDC concept today, TikTok Kitchen, which will be our first with an ever-changing menu,” said Robert Earl, co-founder of Virtual Dining Concepts.
“When we launched MrBeast Burger last December, we were in uncharted territory. Now, one year in, MrBeast Burger is seen as the absolute prime mover in the virtual space, with locations continuing to open throughout the USA and internationally, and we believe TikTok Kitchen is right up there in the same stratosphere. With TikTok’s constant support through initiatives on the platform and via their creators, TikTok Kitchen will always be relevant and exciting.”
Among the most popular food trends tracked on TikTok over the past year include cloud bread, whipped coffee, pancake cereal, feta pasta, hot cocoa bombs and baked oats.
