Bloomreach, the platform for ecommerce personalisation, announced a new set of product features within Bloomreach Discovery designed to help ecommerce companies deliver more personalised, revenue-driving customer experiences in the holiday season and beyond.

Bloomreach’s new merchandising features empower them to build these experiences by offering more control over what customers see and more opportunities to personalise each shopper’s journey. New Bloomreach Discovery features for merchandisers include:
- Personalisation Studio (Beta): customises the ranking of search results based on individual user behaviour and preferences. Ecommerce teams can deliver more relevant and engaging products to each user, leading to higher conversion rates as shoppers are more likely to find products that match their needs and preferences.
- Real-Time API Merchandising: empowers developer teams to deliver personalisation throughout the shopping experience using customer and behavioral data to show the most relevant products in real-time, while reducing the manual work to create the shopping journey.
- Conditional Slot Merchandising (Beta): helps retailers efficiently organise product displays on webpages by setting rules to determine which products appear in specific spots based on characteristics like brand, colour, or category. This capability helps promote new products, tailor which products appear next to each other, and enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.
- Dynamic Categories: allow merchandisers to automatically create new product categories based on conditions like product type, colour, or price. This allows for quick setup of categories such as “Holiday Gifts Under $25” without developer assistance, facilitating special promotions and ensuring customers see relevant products.
