Tendam, a European Omni-channel fashion group, has unveiled its strategic partnership with Myntra, an Indian platform catering to fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. This move marks Tendam’s entry into India, recognised as one of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
The collaboration with Myntra represents an opportunity for Tendam and its array of brands to penetrate India’s dynamic customer base, ensuring increased visibility in a market highly sought after by international labels.
The initial introduction of Women’s Secret, a lingerie brand under Tendam, on Myntra in India heralds the start of this collaboration. Bolstering this market presence, Tendam plans to inaugurate two franchised stores: one in Pune’s Phoenix Mall of the Millennium and another in Ludhiana’s Silver Arc Mall, both set to open in January 2024. Their long-term vision involves establishing 20 stores within the next three years, indicating a steady expansion strategy within India.
Antonis Kyprianou, Tendam’s Franchise General Manager said that collaboration has the potential to foster the growth of their omnichannel business. Myntra is an ‘ideal’ partner, recognising its capabilities to fully develop Tendam’s presence in India. He highlighted India’s promise as a significant market and emphasised the importance of collaborating with a robust local entity like Myntra to ensure a meaningful presence for Tendam’s brands.
Jayanti Ganguly, Vice President of Category Management at Myntra, hailed the alliance as a testament to Myntra’s dedication to offering India’s customers the best of global styles and brands. Ganguly praised Tendam’s stylish fashion footprint across Spain and worldwide.
