Marking the end of the Vibe Martech Fest’s fourth edition was the annual Vibe Martech Awards (VMA) at Address Dubai Marina, UAE. With a mission to recognise the extraordinary achievements of the region’s marketing professionals, VMA provides an annual distinction of the visionary people pushing boundaries in the martech space.
Winners were selected following careful consideration by the Martechvibe Editorial Team.
VMF had two awards categories this year – the Martech Champion Awards and Future Martech Leaders. These awards acknowledged Middle East-based brands’ extraordinary achievers and promising young professionals in martech, carrying the potential to be future game-changers, using technology to redefine marketing and CX. The awards advance the region’s innovation and technology agenda.
Martech Champion Awards
The Martech Champion awards recognise leaders driving the marketing landscape towards excellence. This year’s awards were bagged by Christian Voss Pedersen, Head of Marketing at Zand, Deborah Cohen, Head of Consumer Mass Marketing at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Iva Kutle Škrlec, Director of Destination Marketing – (META region) at Hilton, Antonio Ricciardi, SVP Consumer Intelligence & Engagement at Etisalat, Mike Rich, Chief Marketing Officer at Aramex, Oleg Nesterenko, Chief Growth Officer at STARZPLAY, Ashwini Chitnis, Vice President Marketing & Communications at Dubai Holding, Vicky Elliot, Marketing Director at Jumeirah Group, and Vikram Krishna, Head of Group Marketing & Customer Experience at Emirates NBD.
Joe Akkawi, Senior Manager of Global Strategic Accounts at Sprinklr, gave away the awards.
Christian Voss Pedersen, Head of Marketing at Zand, is an expert in actionable market research and is known for formulating clear marketing strategies, leading teams to exceed targets, and focusing intensely on customer needs.
Deborah Cohen, Head of Consumer Mass Marketing at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), expresses herself as a proactive and collaborative marketing executive with over 15 years of experience on world-leading brands. She is known for her data-driven and analytical expertise in strategic marketing, channel marketing, advertising, brand management and communications for global brands.
Iva Kutle Škrlec, Director of Destination Marketing (META region) at Hilton, has 17 years of international marketing and business development experience, including agency, client and media/tech. A tourism and travel industry expert and a digital transformation leader, Škrlec is a recipient of six Effie awards.
Antonio Ricciardi, SVP of Consumer Intelligence & Engagement at Etisalat, has experience across three continents, and he loves to get people together to achieve powerful purposes. His mission is to influence the best possible decisions via analytics/insights and develop platforms that maximise consumer engagement.
Mike Rich, Chief Marketing Officer at Aramex, is a highly motivated, problem-solving, strategic thinker, idea-breeding, positivity generating, growth-driving, risk-taking, noise-making, digital-first, consumer stalking, behaviour obsessed, experience-loving, and marketing leader.
Oleg Nesterenko, Chief Growth Officer at STARZPLAY, is an online media expert, turnaround executive, and entrepreneur (CGO, CPO, CMO, CEO). For the last ten years, he has built success stories for the most prominent premium video streaming services in MENA,
Eastern Europe, CIS markets, and their diasporas all over the world.
Ashwini Chitnis, Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Dubai Holding, is an expert in destination marketing & communications, brand strategy, external & internal communications, strategic partnerships with governments & investors, and stakeholder management.
Vicky Elliot, Marketing Director at Jumeirah Group, has 25 years of marketing experience in the luxury travel industry. She is an expert in customer loyalty, CX, CEM, CRM, data strategy, customer insights, brand strategy, marketing communications and strategic partnerships. She has experience in managing PR, digital marketing, ecommerce, sales and marketing representation solutions and alliances.
Vikram Krishna, Head of Group Marketing & Customer Experience at Emirates NBD, has more than 25 years of experience. He has worked with amazing people, won global recognition for my employers and contributed to helping organisations differentiate.

Vibe Martech Fest recognises Future Martech Leaders with Vibe Martech Awards. These recipients are the promising young faces in martech.

She is skilled in building media relations strategies and pitching marketing stories.
Felita Figueredo, Marketing Manager, Campaigns & Partnerships at Emirates Post, has over 11 years of experience and is a strategic digital marketing consultant specialising in designing, executing and measuring purpose-built integrated marketing communication strategies that deliver value and promote engagement and conversion. She was a finalist for the “See It, Be It” initiative at Dubai Lynx.
Nadia Diehl, Group MarTech Programmes – Senior Manager at Majid Al Futtaim Holdings leads a team of internal product managers for best-in-class groupwide MarTech programs providing robust products, evolving roadmaps, centralised expertise & extensive support to enable seamless customer engagement.
